Long Time Coming

Its been awhile since I have broadcast my thoughts on here. I have been thinking about where are nation is going and where are youth are also. We see our church pews decreasing and us as Christians really have to ask "where are they going," they are going because we aren't moving. I recently went to a Casting Crowns concert and it made me think after I heard one of their songs. If we are the body why aren't his feet, hands going out and doing the work of God. We all are called to go out and tell people about Christ, you don't have to leave the country to find a mission field, your mission field is right next to you or in front of your house. We aren't doing what God called us to do (Great Commission). Come on lets get it together!!

What is Wrong With US TODAY!!!

When you try to work on the car, never do it while it is raining haha.

Why do people have to follow so close after it has rained?

Why do people have to act stupid if you are going slow during rain?

Do we lack patience now? Is the world seriously going to leave moral behind and do what they want? We need to get back to God because when we are out of His Will it is like running on Interstate 75, half naked towards traffic. We are seriously going out living our life without thinking about our actions. Yes, I do struggle with this, I'm horrible when it comes to communication and I'm still working on respecting my parents but I'm not the only one with the problem. Come on American we are losing our luster, what happened to the good old days when you could sit and talk about things that bothered you, when God was needed to run a country and when God guided us Americans.

WE have lost the war my friends it's time to come back to God and let him do His Will.

The Great Family Meeting

Weekends are great times for people to hang with family and see old friends and i had the privilege of spending time doing both. I got to see my lovely family who i will love no matter what and i got to see my very first Youth Pastor, Rev. Dale Myers. Doing the things that normal family's do on weekends would be to clique so we decided to go on a tram ride, travel through Old Town, and just enjoy each others company. To top off the amazing week we got to hear an amazing person speak to our church.

God has funny ways of bring people together and using them for his purpose. He uses us everyday and we don't even know it. Being in a state that you use to live in can bring some good memories and some bad, it can bring you closer and it can really put you far away out of His Will. Sometimes change can help a person take his current life and make it better. Coming back to Albuquerque made me think, is this a place where i can live for God and stay in his Will. Things happen because God wants them to happen. I have faith that God will put me in the place he needs me and I'm ready to go where ever i need to go God is good.

This week has been amazing and a lot of first. My first time flying by myself and the first time I have not been a youth at the church that guided me to become more spiritually mature. My first time actually missing a place that i thought i would hate. As sit here and wait for my plane I think about what I need to do in my life, how i can prolong it and prolong the lives of people around me.

He Spoke to ME!

In our life we look for God to guide us in the direction we need to go. If we listen to him we will always know where to follow His guidance. This morning he spoke to me through Proverbs 6:6-11 and he spoke perfectly clear. I woke up with the thought that we all have when we wake up, "I don't need to be awake." Proverbs says "Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest. How long will you lie there, you sluggard? When will you get up from your sleep? A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest--and poverty will come on you like a bandit and scarcity like an armed man." This woke me up and pretty much hit me, how can Gods work get done when we are lazy, the ant has no one over him yet he goes and gathers food. We must do the same, we must go out and deliver the Food to everyone, God's Word.

Another things that really made me think about where i stand in my relationship is lying. We all do it, we can't hide it. Some people do it without thinking and the other people just do it because they want to but Proverbs 6:16-19 says Six things the LORD hates, and seven are detestable, they are haughty eyes (adulterer), lying tongue (lying), hands that shed innocent blood (murderers), a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies (false witness), and a man who stirs up dissension among brothers. This pretty much will tell you how you are living your life. I know i still have a lot of work to do before i become a Youth Minister, but I know our God is great and he can do anything he wants through us.
